  Why Care?

Parenting is one of the toughest and most important jobs we will ever do, and we all have a stake in the outcome. Research has shown that parents who have the tools, resources and support they need are more likely to raise safe, healthy and productive children.

Through ICARE parents learn how to:
Communicate calmly and clearly with children.
Correct and redirect children without losing control.
Identify, respond to, and advocate for their children's needs.

Handle stress in positive ways, including reaching out to friends, family and community resources for support.
Develop positive bonds with their children and enjoy spending time together.
Have confidence in their own abilities as parents.
